Keith Gibson is an experienced electrical engineer dealing mainly in specialist lighting and building services projects.  In these roles, he undertakes the design,  tendering, supervision and certification of the wired services.  These incorporate the electrical reticulation, lighting and small power, emergency and standby power systems and auxiliary services such as security, public address, voice/data back bone reticulation, etc. Further to his design practice, Keith has lectured in building services and illumination engineering at the Auckland University of Technology to both 3 year and 4 year degree students. Focus Technology operates as a  Sole Trader and the practice carries Professional Indemnity Insurance and is GST registered. Keith has undertaken a senior role in many projects under his own practice name or under contract for other consultancies which have involved close liaison with Clients, other Design professionals, Main and Subcontractors. He has also been involved in the supervision of contracts, site problem solving, writing training guides and specification clauses, mentoring of junior engineers and the presentation of specialist electrical training sessions.
